For My Biggest Cheerleader

Who's your biggest cheerleader?  Your spouse?  Your sibling? Your best friend?

In my life, I've been so lucky to have lots of people cheering me on.  But for sheer force of longevity of the enthusiasm, Mom is #1.

Okay, even though she isn't online and wouldn't know what a blog was if you asked, I didn't want to show this picture of what I made for Mom ahead of Christmas.  Somewhere in the back of my head, I knew that if I did, it would be the guarantee that she would become instantly online literate and the photo would the first thing she'd find.

So anyway, since the date has passed, the packages have been unwrapped, and the threat of my mother becoming an internet whiz is over, here's what she found under the tree...

It was a hit.  And now my sister wants one, too - birthday gift selection, check!

Oddly enough, I don't usually make jewelry gifts for my family.  Do you?

I do make jewelry gifts for certain family members.

My Mom gets jewelry gifts and usually it is something out of the ordinary.

I give my niece my test pieces. Of course she has also gotten big non-test jewelry too.

My sister doesn't wear jewelry often so not so much for her.

You are so funny! I am the same with my Mother-in-law. she is online, but doesn't read my blog unless I send her the link. doesn't matter how many times I explain it! Very pretty gift - no doubt she LOVED it! my biggest cheerleader is absolutely my sister :) she has a jewelry box full of my bobbles.

Love the combination of cream and gold with that brilliant cobalt center bead! My biggest cheerleader is my sister, whose jewelery box I love to fill up with new designs. I don't see her often enough (she lives in your fair city), but whenever I do, she's always wearing something I've given her.

Hi Bobbie,
Oh wow that is beautiful I bet it looks lovely on your Mom.
I do give jewelry as gifts, but to only the ones that will truly appreciate the gift.
Happy New Year!
